Biography	Day of Merit Prerequisites for "Space Exploration" If you want to finish the Space Exploration MB at Day of Merit, you must build a model rocket at home and bring it with you to Day of Merit. The rocket you build must be able to fly with an "A" or "B" class motor. Please check the "Manufacturer's Recommended Motors" on your kit to make sure that it meets this requirement. Your rocket must pass a safety inspection before you will be allowed to launch it. It should be built well enough to survive two launches and recoveries. Scouts who do not bring a completed model rocket to Day of Merit will be able to complete the "classroom" requirements for the badge, and observe the launches, but will not be able to finish the badge.
